Application Boot Camp® begins long before day one. Upon registration, students receive their Personalized Admissions Report — a detailed, individualized roadmap outlining exactly what to focus on in the months leading up to the program. This includes courses, standardized tests, and high-impact activities that build the kind of depth a compelling application requires.
Students arrive on day one with something invaluable: direction, momentum, and a clearer sense of their own story. The four days can then be spent where the real value lies: developing essays, refining strategy, and making substantial progress alongside expert admissions counselors.

What is the difference between the in-person and virtual formats?
Both follow the same curriculum and include the same deliverables. The in-person program in Boston brings students together on-site for four intensive days in a small-group setting. The virtual format is conducted privately, one-on-one, with a dedicated counselor on dates your family chooses. Families who want an immersive cohort experience with our entire team of experts tend to choose in-person; those who are unable to make our set in-person dates often choose virtual.
When does Boot Camp take place?
Our virtual one-on-one format is scheduled across four days at your family’s convenience. Our in-person Boston program runs annually in early August.
How early should we enroll?
With intentionally small cohorts, limited spots, and the demand of our expert team, ABC fills annually. The earlier a student enrolls, the more they get out of it. Pre-ABC preparation is built into the Boot Camp experience, which means a sophomore who signs on has two full summers and an additional year of expert guidance to build genuine academic depth, pursue meaningful experiences, and visit target schools. Does my student need to be enrolled in Private Counseling to attend?
No. Application Boot Camp® is open to families who are not currently enrolled in Private Counseling.
